DI-Africa's values

Since the Group's creation in 2019, DI-Africa has been built around clear principles that structure our actions and guide each of our decisions.

In demanding industrial, energy and infrastructure environments, our values are not mere statements of intent: they form the foundation of our operating model. They guide how we deploy projects, support our partners and structure compliant and sustainable solutions across the African markets where we operate.

These fundamental pillars reflect our commitment to operational excellence, responsibility and trust. They are at the heart of the relationships we build with our customers, our employees and local communities.

Conformity

Compliance is at the heart of how we operate. We strictly adhere to all local and international regulations, as well as the highest ethical standards. Our commitment to compliance ensures trust and transparency in all our interactions.

Durability

Sustainability is a core value that guides our business decisions. We recognise our responsibility towards the environment and future generations. We strive to minimise our environmental footprint, promote sustainable practices and contribute positively to the economic, social and environmental development of the regions where we operate.

Security

Safety is our top priority. We are committed to creating a safe working environment for our employees, partners and communities. We invest in state-of-the-art practices and technologies to ensure the safety of every project we undertake.

Commitment

Commitment is a key pillar of our corporate culture. We are determined to work closely with our customers, partners and the communities in which we operate to meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction guides everything we do.

SOLUTIONS

THE HEALTH OF OUR EMPLOYEES

At DI-Africa, the health and safety of our staff is a top priority. In all the countries where we operate, as well as in our cross-border activities, we ensure that all our teams – including those deployed on our clients’ projects – have appropriate medical cover.

Because human capital is central to the success of our projects, the protection and well-being of our staff are an integral part of our operational approach.

To ensure this protection, DI-Africa works with leading international partners:

Logo INTERNATIONAL SOS  Logo APRIL INTER

  • International SOS (ISOS) for international medical assistance, coordination of care and medical repatriation
  • APRIL International for international health cover, including medical treatment, hospitalisation, death, disability and assistance

In the other countries where we operate, we work with insurance providers and specialist medical service providers to ensure a level of protection that meets international standards.

THE AFRICAN CONTINENTAL CHALLENGE

Across the African continent, gender equality and local skills development have become crucial issues that require special attention, often accompanied by a demand for local content to ensure that the benefits of development initiatives directly benefit communities. This challenge faces organisations that are responsible for a variety of tasks, such as identifying talent, integrating human resources at the local level, managing administrative processes, providing medical care, processing salary payments, and organising training and career development. In response to these challenges, DI-Africa has taken the initiative to structure its organisation around robust local subsidiaries to ensure that every aspect of its operations is aligned with the needs and realities of local markets. Furthermore, since its inception, DI-Africa has integrated training as a fundamental objective, considering that well-trained staff are essential to achieving its ambitions and contributing to the sustainable development of skills within African communities.
