CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Our client is an international Oil & Gas operator managing offshore facilities in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. The client is seeking Cabin & Galley Stewards for long-term offshore rotation assignments. The role ensures the cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort of cabin and communal living areas, while providing galley support to the catering team. It is a key role in maintaining the quality of the offshore living environment for all personnel.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Cabin & Accommodation
Clean and service cabins, bathrooms, corridors, and communal areas daily
Change and replenish linen, towels, and amenities in cabins
Report any maintenance issues or damage to the Chief Steward
Galley Support
Support galley cleaning operations before, during, and after meal services
Assist with stock management of cleaning supplies and consumables
Assist the catering team during service periods as directed
HSE & Compliance
Comply with all offshore HSE procedures and participate in emergency drills
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards across all assigned areas at all times
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education |
Secondary education or equivalent. Training in housekeeping or stewarding is an advantage. |
|
Experience |
Minimum 1 year's experience in housekeeping or stewarding, preferably in an offshore, vessel, or hospitality environment. |
|
Certifications |
BOSIET certificate — preferable / mandatory. |
|
Technical Skills |
Knowledge of cleaning standards and hygiene protocols. Ability to manage assigned areas efficiently during rotation. |
|
Languages |
English (working level). Portuguese . |
|
Qualities |
Physically fit, detail-oriented, reliable, discreet. Ability to work in a multicultural team under rotation schedule. |

CONTEXTO E ENQUADRAMENTO
O nosso cliente é um operador internacional de Oil & Gas com instalações offshore em Cabo Delgado, Moçambique. O cliente procura Stewards de Cabine e Cozinha para missões de rotação offshore de longa duração. A função assegura a limpeza, higiene e conforto das cabines e áreas comuns de alojamento, prestando igualmente apoio à cozinha. É um papel fundamental para a qualidade do ambiente de vida offshore.
PRINCIPAIS RESPONSABILIDADES
Cabine e Alojamento
Limpar e preparar cabines, casas de banho, corredores e áreas comuns diariamente
Mudar e repor roupa de cama, toalhas e artigos de higiene nas cabines
Reportar quaisquer problemas de manutenção ou danos ao Chefe de Stewards
Apoio à Cozinha
Apoiar as operações de limpeza da cozinha antes, durante e após os serviços de refeições
Auxiliar na gestão de stocks de produtos de limpeza e consumíveis
Apoiar a equipa de catering durante os períodos de serviço conforme instruções
HSE e Conformidade
Cumprir todos os procedimentos HSE offshore e participar em exercícios de emergência
Manter as normas de higiene e limpeza em todas as áreas atribuídas em todos os momentos
PERFIL DO CANDIDATO

Formação |
Ensino secundário ou equivalente. Formação em housekeeping ou stewarding é uma vantagem. |
|
Experiência |
Mínimo 1 ano de experiência em housekeeping ou stewarding, preferencialmente em ambiente offshore, em embarcações ou hotelaria. |
|
Certificações |
Certificado BOSIET — preferível / obrigatório. |
|
Competências Técnicas |
Conhecimento das normas de limpeza e protocolos de higiene. Capacidade de gerir as áreas atribuídas de forma eficiente durante a rotação. |
|
Línguas |
Português (nativo ou fluente). Inglês (nível funcional) é uma vantagem. |
|
Qualidades |
Boa condição física, rigoroso, fiável, discreto. Capacidade de trabalhar em equipa multicultural em regime de rotação. |

Condições |
Rotação offshore de longa duração. Base na região de Pemba. |
