CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Our client is an international Oil & Gas operator managing offshore facilities in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. The client is seeking Laundry Stewards for long-term offshore rotation assignments. The role is responsible for all laundry operations on board, ensuring clean workwear, linen, and personal clothing for all offshore personnel in compliance with facility hygiene standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Laundry Operations
Collect, sort, wash, dry, iron, and distribute laundry for all offshore personnel
Manage workwear and coverall laundry cycles in coordination with operations
Ensure turnaround times meet facility operational requirements
Equipment & Stock
Maintain laundry equipment in clean and operational condition
Monitor and manage detergent and consumable stocks
Report any equipment malfunction to the Accommodation Supervisor
HSE & Compliance
Comply with all offshore HSE procedures and participate in emergency drills
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the laundry area at all times
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education |
Secondary education or equivalent. Training in laundry operations is an advantage. |
|
Experience |
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in laundry operations, preferably in an offshore, marine, or hospitality environment. |
|
Certifications |
BOSIET certificate — preferable / mandatory. |
|
Technical Skills |
Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment. Knowledge of textile care and hygiene standards. |
|
Languages |
English (working level). Portuguese . |
|
Qualities |
Organised, detail-oriented, physically fit, reliable. Ability to work independently under rotation schedule. |

Job Conditions |
Long-term offshore rotation. Pemba area based. |

CONTEXTO E ENQUADRAMENTO
O nosso cliente é um operador internacional de Oil & Gas com instalações offshore em Cabo Delgado, Moçambique. O cliente procura Lavandeiros para missões de rotação offshore de longa duração. A função é responsável por todas as operações de lavandaria a bordo, assegurando fatos de trabalho, roupa de cama e vestuário pessoal limpos para todo o pessoal offshore.
PRINCIPAIS RESPONSABILIDADES
Operações de Lavandaria
Recolher, separar, lavar, secar, engomar e distribuir a roupa de todo o pessoal offshore
Gerir os ciclos de lavagem de fatos de trabalho e macacões em coordenação com as operações
Garantir que os prazos de entrega cumprem os requisitos operacionais da instalação
Equipamentos e Stocks
Manter os equipamentos de lavandaria em condições de limpeza e funcionamento
Monitorizar e gerir os stocks de detergentes e consumíveis
Reportar qualquer avaria de equipamento ao Supervisor de Acomodação
HSE e Conformidade
Cumprir todos os procedimentos HSE offshore e participar em exercícios de emergência
Manter a higiene e limpeza da área de lavandaria em todos os momentos
PERFIL DO CANDIDATO

Formação |
Ensino secundário ou equivalente. Formação em operações de lavandaria é uma vantagem. |
|
Experiência |
Mínimo 1 a 2 anos de experiência em lavandaria, preferencialmente em ambiente offshore, marítimo ou hoteleiro. |
|
Certificações |
Certificado BOSIET — preferível / obrigatório. |
|
Competências Técnicas |
Capacidade de operar equipamentos industriais de lavandaria. Conhecimento de normas de cuidado têxtil e higiene. |
|
Línguas |
Português (nativo ou fluente). Inglês (nível funcional) é uma vantagem. |
|
Qualidades |
Organizado, rigoroso, boa condição física, fiável. Capacidade de trabalhar de forma autónoma em regime de rotação. |

Condições |
Rotação offshore de longa duração. Base na região de Pemba. |
